Join Artists Hammad Haider and Aatif Jutt as they share thier creative practice and reflect on the future of Arabic Calligraphy. 

Hammad Haider is a British Pakistani Islamic Artist and Architectural Designer based in the UK. He completed his Masters in Architecture from the University of Sheffield and a BA degree in Architecture from the University of Huddersfield.

In addition to his main profession of Architecture, Hammad is a talented artist in the field of Islamic Arts combining his love for the built environment with the beauty that exists within the Islamic World creating Art that visualises various historic sites from around the world through sketching and calligraphy.

Aatif Jutt's art is a fusion of Islamic tradition and contemporary expression. Inspired by the Qur’an and the Prophets' stories, he explores Muslim culture and identity, weaving heritage and spirituality into his work. The Qur’an is a wellspring of inspiration for Aatif, guiding his selection of verses that he integrates into his art to convey profound meaning through symbolic expression.

Arabic calligraphy, rooted in divine revelation, holds a sacred place in Aatif's practice, representing timeless beauty and sanctity. Aatif's artistic journey transcends boundaries, encompassing both traditional and digital mediums. From calligraphy to modern forms like animation, he explores the intersection of Islamic art and contemporary expression.
